Aman
They/them
In the late 2190s, the artificial intelligence known as the Mainframe created Aman. For some time, Aman didn't know that they were lab-created. When the Sivylla first gathered, Aman discovered that their role in the Mainframe's plan was to guide Corelai. Once the Mainframe's plan was almost complete, the Mainframe knew Aman would object to its plans with Corelai. As a result, the Mainframe ordered robots to stab out Aman's eyes, disrupting their connection to the Mainframe's information.
In the years after the Mainframe completed its purpose, Aman worked for the Antistasi—the same organization that gathered the Sivylla in the first place. In March 2206 (in "Death's Mending Touch"), the Antistasi discovered that the Sivylla were being targeted by an unknown assailant. The Antistasi appointed Aman to unite the Sivylla so they could take on the issue. In the process, the Sivylla decided to join the Antistasi as part of a new team called the Enforcers. Aman led the training and missions for the Enforcers.
Appearance
Aman was a lab-grown human. They were created to look like they were about nineteen years old. By the time of "Death's Mending Touch," the were officially nine years old. To avoid detailing their backstory, they told people that they were twenty-eight. They were a 5'11", Brown person with light brown skin. They typically kept their light brown hair with blond streaks cut short. Their beard tended to be trimmed short. Their eyes showed scarring from when robots stabbed out their brown eyes.
They tended to wear business casual clothes. They used a white cane to help them get around.
Personality, Behavior, Et Cetera
Although Aman had plenty of reasons to crash out, they remained level-headed when most wouldn't. They didn't take offense when someone was rude to them—tolerance was part of their Antistasi job.
In "Death's Mending Touch," they were blind. Due to being connected to the Mainframe technology, they could map out where objects were a few feet around them. Their eyes were prosthetics, however, so they couldn't read or see the way they could before. Their white cane helped for encountering unpredictable moving objects (which were primarily people).
They didn't like being reminded of how the Mainframe created them and then abandoned them.
They were asexual and aromantic.
Relationships
Due to the Mainframe events, Aman was friends with Corelai. They kept in contact even years later.
In "Death's Mending Touch," Aman had a soft spot for the Sivylla/Enforcers. Aman was one of the first few believers in the team working well for the Antistasi. Even though the group would press Aman's buttons, they gave the group leniency.
